This modern looking motif called the Hanadi, from the central region of

Saudi Arabia, inspired the clothing label featuring inside each garment.

Although the motif looks modern, this design is the exact same colourway as

the original embroidery. Updated in shape by process of being hand drawn

and then digitally remastered, this palazzo pant suit pays homage to the

traditional colour palette of the Najd region.

When Dr Serra Kirdar travelled to meet Art of Heritage’s chief executive Princess Nourah Bint Mohammed al Faisal, astounded by not only the intricate craftsmanship on display at the atelier but the dedication of the team, some of whom are women with disabilities, Dr Serra Kirdar Felt compelled to return the next day. Poring over books containing archival motives, designs and colourways from the five regions of Saudi Arabia, the following day an idea was born. Meeting weekly over the following three months, Dr. Serra Kirdar Worked back and forth with the Riyadh atelier. Ensuring the designs met the vision of the woman Serra had in mind, to retain both brand identities, HRH Princess Nourah Bint Mohammed al Faisal meticulously oversaw each new design. Serra Kirdar x Art of Heritage is a capsule collection of modern, easy-to-wear pieces designed with the spirit of women who effortlessly straddles both East and West in mind. A fusion of East meets West, and craft meets tech, from Riyadh to London, the collection embodies history, tradition and modernity. Unrestricted by catwalk trends in the opposite of throwaway fashion, for the first time in history, a collection of Western silhouettes features all 5 Bedouin tribal motifs and colourways.
